High School

Imagine Prep’s exciting high school curriculum emphasizes student-centered learning, professionalism, and real-world application. All classes focus on project-based learning, creating projects of varying sizes that demonstrate their understanding of state and national standards. Students complete courses in four core disciplines: Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Language Arts and Social Studies are taught through a combined course called Humanities. This course is team taught by Language Arts and Social Studies faculty, in collaboration with a project specialist. Core high school courses include:

  • Algebra II
  • Financial Literacy

Additionally, high school students take other required courses to complete credit requirements and prepare them for unique aspects of Imagine Prep’s curriculum. Every junior is required to take “Professional Skills” in preparation for completing a required internship. Each senior is required to take a senior projects course in preparation for completing a required senior project.

Finally, all high school students have the option to take elective courses in the arts and other disciplines. Non-core required classes and elective classes include:
